It took seven games to make it happen, but there’s finally a decisive result in a game of the 2012 World Chess Championship between champ Viswanathan Anand and challenger Boris Gelfand. In today’s seventh round game, Gelfand (with the White pieces) emerged victorious after thirty-eight moves. A misstep on Anand’s part at the twenty-third move started the bleeding, and Black just couldn’t recover.
